Terms of Use

What Rinta commits to you, and what you commit to — in language you can read.

Last updated: 6 October 2026

If you read only one sentence, read this: Rinta is an organising tool, not an official reference. The reference for any academic decision — a deadline, registration, withdrawal or grade — is your university and its approved systems, not Rinta's screen.

1. What these terms are

An agreement between you and Rinta on how you use the app and the website. By using Rinta you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it — and you may delete your account at any moment from inside the app.

2. What Rinta is and is not

It is a tool that brings your schedule, courses, calendar and materials together in one place, in Arabic, and helps you organise your studies.

It is not an official body, is not affiliated with the Saudi Electronic University or any university, does not act for any of them, and issues no certificate, statement or registration on their behalf. It does not provide binding academic advice.

3. Decisions are not to be based on our screen alone

We do our best to keep data correct and up to date, and we tell you the source of what we show. Even so, an update may be delayed, an error may occur, or the university may change something without the change reaching us.

Therefore: before any action with consequences — payment, registration, withdrawal, excuse or sitting an exam — verify it in your university's approved system. What Rinta shows is for reminding and organising, not a substitute for the official body.

4. Your account

  • The account is yours alone, and your university email is how we confirm you are a student. Do not share your sign-in with others.
  • What happens through your account is attributed to you; if you see use you do not recognise, tell us immediately.
  • We never ask for your university password — anyone who asks for it in Rinta's name is not us.

5. What you agree to

  • Not to upload or publish what you have no right to publish, anything that infringes others' rights, or leaked or prohibited exam material.
  • Not to use Rinta for cheating, impersonation or anything that breaches your university's regulations.
  • Not to attempt to break into the service, bypass its limits, scrape its data automatically, or access another student's data.
  • Not to misuse "Ask" in ways that harm others or break the law.

6. What you upload remains yours

Your files and notes are yours, and remain yours. By uploading them you give us a limited permission — no wider than running the service for you — to store, process and display them to you, and to make them available to anyone you choose to share them with, if you choose.

We do not use them for anything else: we do not sell them, show them to other students without your choice, or use them in advertising. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

If a rights holder believes uploaded material infringes their rights, they may write to us at support@rinta.app identifying the material and the basis of the right, and we will act as required.

7. "Ask" answers — how to read them

"Ask" answers based on your course materials and shows you its source. It is artificial intelligence, so it can make mistakes or misread your question.

Read the answer together with its source, and do not treat it as a substitute for your course material or your instructor. Anything a decision is based on — a grade or an exam answer — should be checked against the official source.

8. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep Rinta running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may update, change or discontinue some features. If we discontinue a feature that holds your data, exporting it remains available to you.

9. Suspending an account

We may suspend an account that seriously breaches these terms or harms others or the service. We will tell you the reason as far as the law allows, and you may ask us to review it.

You may end your relationship with us at any moment by deleting your account — and your data is then erased as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

Rinta is provided "as is". We are responsible for what we commit to in these terms, but we are not responsible for an academic decision made on the basis of Rinta's screen without referring to the official body, for interruptions beyond our control, or for indirect damage — to the extent permitted by law; this clause is not intended to waive any right that cannot lawfully be waived.

11. Fees

Anything that requires payment will have its price and terms announced before any commitment from you, with no subscription that starts automatically and no charge you have not expressly agreed to. Any in-app purchases are subject to the App Store's terms and refund policy.

Details are on the Pricing, cancellation & refunds page.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update them, and we will notify you inside the app of anything material before it takes effect, updating the date above. Continuing to use Rinta after that is acceptance; if you do not accept, you may delete your account.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.

14. Owner and operator

Rinta — «رينتا» in Arabic and Rinta in Latin script — is the name of a digital product (an app and academic platform) wholly owned, developed and operated by Salamna Establishment for Information Technology, Commercial Registration (Unified National No.) 7032300878. Rinta is not a separate legal entity or a separate juristic person; it is a product brand of the establishment. The domains rinta.sa and rinta.app are registered to the establishment and are used to provide this product.

All intellectual property rights in the name "Rinta", its logo, software and content are owned by the establishment.
